Street Smarts Mini Short Video Contest:
Riding your bike safely and walking safely to school

The Street Smarts “Be Reel!” video contest gives middle school students (grades 6-8) in the San Ramon Valley the opportunity to showcase their knowledge of traffic safety and video production talent by producing 60-second public service announcements (PSAs) that educate their friends, family and community. The contest aims to raise awareness about traffic safety issues with both the students participating in the contest and those who see their work. Students were asked to submit one or more PSAs with the theme “Riding Bicycles Safely” and “Walking Safely to School.”

Street Smarts is a regional traffic safety education campaign in the San Ramon Valley. The program is proudly sponsored by: Town of Danville, City of San Ramon, Contra Costa County – District 3, San Ramon Valley Unified School District, San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs, State Farm Insurance, Sunset Development Company and other community partners.
