Do you have what it takes to be a Filmmaker?
Well, here is your chance to show off your filmmaking skills! This high energy, zany competition is open to everyone from industry veterans to video prodigies. The entire contest is free.
Contestants will have 24 hours to create a complete three-minute short film. The film must include the secret ingredients that all participants will be given at the kick off at 10:00am on Saturday, April 17th. The completed movie must be turned in by 11:00am on Sunday, April 18th at the same starting location. For the next week, the movies will be screened and judged by our selected panel of judges. All films submitted will be shown at the Orinda Theatre at 9:00am, Saturday, April 24th.
ONLY the first 30 entrants will be accepted. Send us your contact information now to reserve your place. We will send you back via email an entry form that you will need to fill in and fax back to us to complete your entry process. You are NOT entered until the completed form is sent back.

With minimal advertising costs and maximum marketing reach, the CAIFF Program targets thousands of East Bay customers. Ads rates start at $250.
The CAIFF's Programs will be inserted into 40,000 Contra Costa Times newspapers in Berkeley, Oakland Hills, Piedmont, Orinda, Moraga, Lafayette, Alamo, and Danville. Additionally, 5,000 Programs will be handed out during the 4-day film festival in Downtown Orinda. Reserve your ad space soon...spaces are filling up!

“Live at the Orinda” Champagne Comedy Event

Five Acclaimed Comedians to Deliver Salvos of Side-Splitting Laughs
San Francisco’s East Bay area lovers of laughter will have the opportunity to join a champagne-filled night of comedy at the landmark Orinda Theatre on Friday, March 5th. The Orinda Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Tommy T’s Comedy Clubs and The Lamorinda Film & Entertainment Foundation today announced plans for the first “Live at the Orinda” event.
The evening of fun will start with a gala champagne reception at 7:00 p.m., followed by laugh-packed performances from five comedians starting at 8:00 p.m. A brief intermission will be provided for attendees to regain composure and refill their refreshments. Featured comedians will be Ed Tracey, Larry “Bubbles” Brown, Dan St. Paul, Mark Pitta, and Johnny Steele – all highly-acclaimed masters of comedy.

Ready, Set, Bag! explores the lives of eight state champions, following these delightfully fun, quintessentially American characters from local contests to their moment on the national stage.
