the importance of promoting great independent film,
the arts and international culture in Orinda.

In 2010, CAIFF will be showcasing a Monthly Film Series at the Orinda Theatre, sponsored by Diablo Magazine. We are planning such cinema classics as:
“One Flew Over the Cuckcoo’s Nest” with Oscar Winner Louise Fletcher,
“To Kill A Mockingbird” with Oscar Nominee Mary Badham,
“Westside Story” with Oscar Winner Rita Moreno.
Other films include “American Graffiti”,
“The Sound of Music”,
“The Exorcist”,
“Vertigo”,
and “A Christmas Story”
just to name a few.

April 22, 2010, will kick off the 12th Annual California Independent Film Festival
and this year we will increase our international program with the addition of showcasing the winners of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, the Monaco International Film Festival and our sister film festival the Sapporo Short Film Festival. CAIFF is truly an international film festival, showcasing festival winner from around the world.

The Festival continues to grow each year by screening more films and drawing larger crowds. As we grow, we seek increased support for this truly unique and rewarding International Cinema." This is where our friends, patrons and valued sponsors (you can find membership and sponsorship opportunities on our web site) can help.

Without such generosity and support, this event would not be possible.
We thank you for your anticipated support.

Sincerely,
 Derek Zemrak, President and Founder
California Independent Film Festival Association
